Beware of Fraud

Scammers sometimes copy the names of well-known companies. Here are our official website and app, and the signs of a scam, so you can check before you share your details or pay anyone.

PropertySeller never asks you to pay PropertySeller. Money for a property goes only to the developer's official RERA escrow account (off-plan) or through a Dubai Land Department trustee office (ready homes) — never to a personal account.

Common Scams

  • Fake Websites. Sites with names like abc-propertyseller.com, propertyseller-offers.com or propertyseller-booking.com that copy the look of our official website www.propertyseller.com to collect your details or money. They are not ours.

  • Fake Agents. Someone says they are from PropertySeller and asks for a deposit or a “booking fee” to hold a unit for you.

  • Deals That Are Too Good. Prices far below the market, “today only” offers, or pressure to pay quickly before you have checked anything.

  • Fake Social and Messaging Accounts. WhatsApp, Telegram or Instagram accounts that use our name or logo to share offers or ask for payments.

  • Fake Jobs and Commission Programmes. Offers to work with us or earn commission that ask for a joining, training or registration fee. Applying to PropertySeller is always free.

How to Stay Safe

  • Check the Address Bar. Before you enter any details, make sure the address reads www.propertyseller.com.

  • Verify the Agent. Use our Agent Verification page to check that an agent really works with PropertySeller.

  • Check the Project and Its Escrow. Use the Dubai REST app to confirm the project is registered and to see its official escrow account.

  • Never Share OTPs, Passwords or Card Details. We never ask for them by phone, WhatsApp or email.

  • Get It in Writing. Use the official contracts: the SPA for off-plan homes and Form F (MOU) for ready homes.

  • Not Sure? Check Our Website. If an offer reaches you somewhere else, look for it on www.propertyseller.com first.
